Mr. Hossain completed his Master’s in Statistics from the University of Dhaka (DU) and a Master’s in Public Policy (Development Economics) from GRIPS, Tokyo, Japan. He has undergone professional training at the IMF Training Institute in Pune, India, the IMF Training Institute in Singapore, and the Asia-Pacific Finance and Development Centre in Shanghai, China. His areas of specialization include Population Science and Development Economics, while his areas of special interest are Statistics (Ancillary Statistics), Demography, Fiscal Policy, and Monetary Policy.
